Is My Child Ready for the 11+?
As a guide, your child should be above average in reading, writing and maths, often described by schools as “working beyond the expected level”. Their class teacher is the best judge, so I don’t use a quick entry test.
Your child also needs to want to do it: there is weekly homework and the exam is a real challenge.
