Year 4 11+ Preparation: Short Daily Practice, Posted to Your Door
A weekly home-learning sheet that builds the maths, grammar and punctuation skills children need before 11+ lessons start in Year 5. Each day is one short burst of practice. It costs £3.50 a week and works anywhere in the UK.

How It Works
One maths topic and one English topic each week, practised a little every day.

One sheet arrives each week
It has 6 sections: one for each weekday and one for the weekend.

For example, rounding numbers and identifying verbs.

Daily repetition
Each weekday revisits the same topics, so the method sticks.

Mixed questions from 2, 3, 7 or 12 weeks earlier keep older topics fresh.

Why Little and Often Works
Research on memory shows that short, spaced practice is remembered far longer than one long session. Schools struggle to do this with a full class and timetable, but it fits family life well. Sending one sheet a week also keeps it manageable and gives children something to look forward to.
Why Not Just Buy a Workbook?
Workbooks have their place, but most cover a topic once and move on. This programme is built on repetition, which is what turns a method into long-term memory.
Price and Payment
£3.50 per week. You receive an invoice at the end of each month for the weeks sent. For example, 4 weeks in November = £14.

Is it only for Plymouth?
No. It suits any UK child preparing for an 11+ that includes maths and English.
Can Year 3 or Year 5 children use it?
Yes, depending on ability.
Can I start mid-year?
Yes, at any point in Year 4.
